CHEF
Miguel Reyes, born in Acapulco, Mexico, is the talented chef at K PASA restaurant in Sag Harbor. With a rich culinary background, he has lived in The Hamptons for over seven years, previously serving as the head chef at Estias and a sushi chef at SEN restaurant. He also honed his skills at the Michelin-starred Cosme restaurant, gaining invaluable experience in a world-class kitchen.
Miguel's culinary journey is marked by his dedication to creating nut-free versions of classic Mexican dishes, driven by his own nut allergy. This passion extends to crafting unique salsas and moles that are both delicious and safe for those with similar allergies.
Beyond the kitchen, Miguel's life is as vibrant as his cooking. He is an avid lover of video games, a fan of Harry Potter, anime, and romance novels. He enjoys dining out, watching cooking shows, and, of course, cooking and eating sushi. His global experiences are not just limited to his culinary expertise; Miguel played professional field hockey as a goalkeeper, traveling the world with scholarships that took him to Germany, Spain, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and Cuba. In addition to his role at K PASA, Miguel owns a pizza restaurant and a taco restaurant in his hometown of Acapulco, showcasing his versatile culinary skills and entrepreneurial spirit. His journey from a professional athlete to a celebrated chef in The Hamptons is a testament to his diverse talents and unwavering passion for food.
